The principal house at ArteSumapaz is a hacienda dating back over 100 years. The construction is primarily of adobe, with tiles floors, and clay-tile roof (quieter in the rain!). There are several private bedrooms with bathrooms, and two larger rooms with several single beds each. There is a main dining room in which residents share all meals, the library/living room, and a porch that wraps around three sides of the house.
